Description: 
Comparative transcriptome analyses of R.pulchrum flowers we performed at 3 stages: floral bud stage, early flowering stage, and full-flowering stage. The flowers studied were cultivated in Huanggang Botanical garden (Huanggang, Hubei, China). Total RNA of each stage was isolated using TRIzol kit and a cDNA library was created. The cDNA library were sequenced on HiSeq 2500 PE125 platform (2 × 150 bp).The transcriptomes from of the three stages were pooled and used as a reference to identify DGEs (differentially expressed genes) using statistical analysis.
